Take a look at Curtis Martin and Terry Glenn in their rookie seasons, and ya may rethink that just a tad.
Terry had the most touches of his CAREER in his rookie season under Parcells, and Curtis was 1 run shy of his career high in his rookie yr under him (his most ever was under Parcells for the Jets BTW).

He likes TALENT, and if the guy has talent/Guts/ and is a hard worker he will get rewarded with PT.
What will it mean for JJ? I think it means he will get a shot at a high % of the carries IF he keeps outproducing eddie, and knows the blocking assignments.
Thats just an opinion from a guy that watched Tuna Hammer CMart and Glenn as rookies...
