He's a damn good back. Too bad he's not on the Raiders, i'd swoop on him in second.

Barlow

The entire SF offense is will be lucky to score 20 tds this year let alone the need to play catchup killing Barlow's 25-30 carry games. He's not worth anywhere near the value of where he's going except arguably in keeper leagues. The bottom line is most fantasy leagues are td oriented and guys or aren't LT on bad offenses are at best gonna give you good yards.

I hear ya Bears_Fan and that's what I am worried about.

I think he is a good player on a bad team, but I couldn't pass him up in the third round.

I hate reading threads like this...considering Barlow is my number one RB in a 14 team keeper...had 12th pick, took Harrison, then got Barlow second round.

My opinion, Barlow could be a great back. BUT, SF has so many problems on offense, 2 new starting receivers, new QB, 3 new linemen...it's too much to overcome. I saw them in person last week against Minn, which should be a slightly above average defense...60 TOTAL OFFENSIVE YARDS in the 1st half for the 1st team.

He's a nice 3rd round pick, but not someone I would want as my first back.
