Can someone Explain this league's settings? (Combined yards)

Everyone-

I'm getting ready to draft for this league tonight. A few things confuse me, #1: it looks like we do NOT get points for RB Rushing Yards; #2: it looks like you get to double dip on yardage points if you have a player that gets PASS + RUSH yards or RUSH + RECEIVE yards in the same week (isn't this too much!?).

Seriously though, in this league (just at first glance) I'd:

Try to grab two top-of-the-line RBs (rushing yards do count) who are an important part of their team's passing game.

Take a QB a bit earlier than most other leagues. One who'll pick up a few yards on the ground wouldn't hurt.

Wait on WRs, and grab kick returners later - unless you see other owners picking KRs early. In that case, scrap this plan.

Let others be sneaky and pick the top TEs.

Not worry too much about paying a high pick for the very best defenses, but try to wind up with two decent options.

ret yds = rush and reception yds??? wow.

Arlo is very right. kick returners will be the sneaky picks - learn who they are and target them later as you fill up on your other positions first. There will be a dozen or more guys who will get over 1000 ret yds, who could very easily fill your #2 or #3 WR positions that will be available in the last few rds of your draft more than likely. I would still get a legit #1WR though.

This seems needlessly complicated. As both Arlo and CBM said, kick returners are solid options.
