Underrated accurate kickers?

Any thoughts on John Kasay? I dropped Carney for him in a keeper where you lose points for missed kicks. If he plays, Gary Anderson is pretty accurate inside the 40, but Hanson is a very attractive option for you also.

Thanks gents! I'll go pick up Hanson b/c I have nothing to lose, really.

As for Kasay I like him, but he went through a spell last year where he was missing half his field goals each game. I think one game he actually missed all four of them, even the close ones. Still, Carolina should give him plenty of FG attempts so he'll score big points. It just depends on how penalized you are for his misses.

Jose Cortez?

Oh wait, that was 2002...sorry. !+)

I don't think I'd waste a pick on Todd Peterson. Something tells me he won't get many chances this year for my Niners... :,-(

Josh Brown should be solid this year with his accurate foot and a high powered offense

Janikowski is rated lower than normal due to the excessive suckitude of their offense last season. I expect Oakland to rebound and him to be a Top 10 kicker again. He's great in yardage points due to his monster leg.

Doug Brien (Jets) is another underrated kicker. He's fairly accurate from all ranges. I also like Kris Brown (Houston) who has similar upside to Shayne Graham of Cincinatti and kicks indoors as well. The Texans will score a lot more field goals this season. If none of those guys are available then wait for Yahoo to add Minnesota's new kicker (Conway) or Todd France of the Giants.
Avoid Martin Gramatica. He has looked awful in the exhibition games.
