I went searching the net since everything is there, and had to dig a little bit, but finally found the job requirements for the UFA Dude (as he is called in the nfl headquarters):

1. Be able to spell NFL.
2. Be able to spell UFA.
3. Know your numbers from 3 through 7.
4. Simple arithmetic - can use fingers and toes.
5. Know how to stay away from the media.

That is all there is to it!
