Do you think Staley will be a solid RB this year or will Bettis take away too many goalline TDs and carries to make Staley very effective?

Solid back. 1050 yards and 7-9 TDs.

Bus isn't a factor. Maybe a couple hundred and few half-yard plunges.

I agree....I think a pretty secure no. 2 or 3 back would be a nice fit for him in a lineup

I am anticipating alot of good things from Staley this year. There are so many positives about his situation that will make any Staley owners smile.
1. Personal motivation to prove to Philly that they lost a solid back
2. Going into a team where running game has been lacking
3. Bill Crower loves running the ball
4. Staley has good hands

those are some of my thoughts on Staley....I got him in the 5th round.....so his potential for rewards is very high.....

SOLID BACK!

Duce is the guy in Pittsburgh but Bettis will vulture some TD's...if it's 2nd or 3rd & Goal, I bet Cowher will send in Bettis...

I've been high on Staley all preseason - tough back that is a perfect fit in Philly - he'll pile up the yards but I do think he'll have about 4-5 TD's stolen from him by the Bus... I'm guess 1200 total yds, 7-8 total TD's - decent #2, great #3...

STUD

Very nice #3, could be a decent #2

He is ready to have a big year. Bettis won't play a big factor, Cowher has said he plans to mix things up goalline and not completely rely on Bettis. Staley has the receiving skills to go along with the fact that he should fit well in PIT.

i agree. great fit in steeltown. i just picked him up in my draft and am very happy. of course he hasn't played yet so i guess i'm just happy in general. i agree with the majority in saying that the bus might steal a few td's but nothing that will affect his value that much.
