I think Calico sprained his MCL's not his ACL's. I'm not a doctor, but I understand there's a big difference.

There's a huge difference between the MCL and ACL.

I'm not a doctor either...but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn last night.

Maybe I can help here.

Anterior Cruciate Ligament injuries are worse than Medical Collateral Ligament injuries.

The ACL is the ligament that runs down the front of your knee. Any force from behind ur knee going forward will cause an injury to the ACL. They say bad ACL injuries requiring surgery take about 7 months to heal.

The MCL is the ligament that runs down the inside of ur knee. A severe injury to this ligament takes about 4 months to heal after injury with full rehabilitation.

That is for injuries that involve a tearing of the ligament.

A strain is not much to be worried about.

Ogden was diagnosed with a "mild sprain". Shouldn't be anything to worry about. :-°

Dont offensive linemen put more strain on their knees anyway? This sprain or strain or whatever really could have a longer affect on Ogden because of how he uses his knees. :-t

Now that I am looking at the title again, how many Ravens fans are actually here?? I'm probably forgetting someone but I can't really recall any.

An as far as Ogden goes, this surely should be at least a mild concern for J Lew owners. Losing the number 1 tackle in the game isn't good, and this injury just might linger awhile it seems.

mannubhai is a Ravens fan, but he hasn't been around in a while. I read that Ogden might miss Week 1 somewhere, and I was pleased b/c the guy I'm playing against in my money league has Lewis and he's playing Cleveland Week 1.
