Patriots getting JAX'ed up...

Yes, for the millionth time, it's the preseason, but the Jags just put up 28 points in the 4th on the Patriots. That isn't saying much for their deep reserves...

It was 0-0 after half, so it looks like the defenses played well. The Patriots haven't played any of their starters, so that is a little more encouraging for NE knowing that their immediate reservers are ready to go, plus JAX's defense is playing well going into the season.

I turned on NFL Network as the 2nd quarter was starting; he was out by then.

I think part of the problem for the Pats was that they are on a short week to begin with, since they have to prepare for a Thursday season opener against Indy. I wouldn't take away too much from this game.

I deffinately expect to see much better things out of the Pats than what the preseason is indicating. . .unless of course they're only gonna play their backups
