Kevin Johnson just went undrafted in my league? Um Why?

10 team league and Kevin johnson went undrafted. We start 2 Wr and 1 Flex RB/WR/Te.

Should I Pick him up off waivers? Here is my roster...

10 team league - High performance scoring
1 QB 2RB 2WR 1 RB/WR/TE 1 D 1K

Qb - Hasselback, Leftwich
RB - Alexander, F Taylor, Q Griffen, L Suggs, T Hollings
WR - Ward, Stallworth, Fitzgerald, Toomer, b Lloyd
K - M Anderson
D - Chiefs

Peer pressure and because Todd Heap is the #1 and #2 options on that team.

I would say the reason he was undrafted is because no one trusts Baltimore's passing attack past Todd Heap. Lewis is the main option on first and second down, and the Ravens normally play close defensive-minded games which require ball control through the run. Johnson is a good receiver, but the question is will he actually get the touches and yards necessary to be a good fantasy starter.

Another reason why is because I only see 14 players for your team (assuming you have a full roster). That's only 140 players taken in total. A 12 team league with 15 players would draft 180...Johnson would most likely be taken in the latter system, but maybe not in the 10 teamer.

I think the bottom line is to ask yourself, "Is he better than any of the WR's on my team?" All the receivers you have now are pretty good and/or the same as Johnson. But, if you think he's going to bust out, then you might consider acquiring him.

Johnson is a bubble guy. Somebody might take a flier on him in the late rounds, or sometimes he'll go undrafted. He wasn't that good with Cleveland and so why would he be that good at Baltimore?

Two years ago, everyone was saying that KJ was a fantasy stud but he never produced because there were just too many recievers in Cleveland. He will get good numbers in Bal if McCardell lands there to put pressure off him.

but right now whats the chance of baltimore getting him? i haven't read any links or found any documentation past what someone heard on the radio. Thats a far shot for me and until that happens its not worth a slot on my bench right now.
