A.J. Feeley to start in Miami

I sure everybody was just dying to know about this gripping decision..lol!

Anyway, just incase you have an 18 team league and your teams are more than 30 deep and you have 5 starting QB's...looks like it will be Feeley in Miami.

I'm in a league that starts 2 QBs. He's on my roster as my 3rd QB. I'm hoping Miami can find a passing attack....is that asking too much?

If miami is not able to take a bye on the season...

The passing game is what they are going to have to hang their hat on. Regular season is rapidly approaching and, despite a myriad of rumors, it seems likely that minor and morris will RBBC. Since nobody respects that tandem the passing game will suffer. The only good note is that the receivers are pretty good in Booker, Chambers, and Freeman in the slot. Therefore, if you already have feeley in a deep league, he is serviceable to cover bye weeks. If you don't already have him, as it has been the theme of this whole forum, steer clear of Dolphin players.

His value might rise slightly if they can close the deal on a semi-valuable RB, but not much. Wait a couple weeks and see what happens in Miami....perhaps a little devine intervention is necessary right about now.

They brought in Feeley to be the franchise's future at QB. Considering that they must realize they don't have any realistic shot at the playoffs this year it makes sense to let Feeley get some experience and work through the learning process so that he a substantially better starter next year when they may be able to recover from the losses of this year.

Anyways the Dolphins should start Fiedlier, I don't see why they are so high on Feeley.

it is not confirmed. i have been following this because i am a dolphins fan.

anyway, not that it has much fantasy impact right now, but from what i have seen in preseason, feeley throws a really decent deep ball, and miami will probably be behind alot. so, who knows what could develop.

I should have elaborated that this is mere speculation at this point. Although, based on that article, the speculation is close to materializing.
This has not been officially announced, but will likely happen.


Anyway, my original post was meant merely as a bit of levity...I didn't think that anybody really cared, I don't! And I've been a fin fan since the Marino/Montana superbowl.
