The return of Michael Pittman and the James Jackson Issue

Postby MontyBurns » Fri Sep 03, 2004 1:35 pm

Trying to solidify my bench with some trade bait and I am perplex by charlie gardners minor injuries and Michael pittmans new contract and 74 yard 12 carrie game on thursday (6.1 per yard avg) . is this still RBBC or is pittman worth something.

James Jackson has been rumored to be traded for 3 weeks now and nothing so far. He has gone from being a team player and saying the right things (did not work) to demanding a trade. All of which were empty words, he just wants out. Why is nothing happening with this guy?

Pittman certainly is an intriguing option. We should know much more before he gets back from his 3 game suspension. I'm watching very closely because I'm in a league that rewards pass-catching backs big time. I hadn't realized that LT2 was the only RB to catch more passes than Pittman last year. Could be a steal.
