PLEASE PLEASE bear with me on the length of this post...
I have been doing FF for quite few years now, but I have never been in a TD league. I was out with some friends last night and got roped into another league (I have officially lost count). I don't even know where to begin AND THE DRAFT IS MONDAY!!!
This is the scoring explanation I was given -
Scoring for QBs,RBs,WRs,TEs
TD 0-9 yards = 6 pts
TD 10-29 yards = 9 pts
TD 30-49 yards = 12 pts
TD 50+ yards = 15 pts
2 pt conv = 2 pts
If a RB RECEIVES a TD it is double the points, If a QB RUNS a TD it is double the points, If a WR RUNS a TD it is double the points.
QBs Special Scoring
275+ passing yards = 10 pts
400+ passing yards = 15 pts
So 250 yards = ZERO, 300 = 10 and 400 = 15 (not 10 plus 15)
RBs, WRs, TEs Special Scoring
100 yrds rush/rec = 10 pts
200 yrds rush/rec = 15 pts (only 15, not 10 AND 15)
If a RB gets 100 yrds rec, it is only 10 pts - no double pts given for out of position yards. It is possible to get 100 rushing and 100 rec yards, which would be a 20-point bonus
** So I am assuming the 100 rush/rec means all the yards have to come by the same means, i.e. 100 rushing, not 50 and 50. **
DEF Scoring
Tackle = 1 pt (no partial)
Sack = 5 pts
1/2 Sack = 2 pts
INT = 10 pts
Fum Rec = 5 pts
K Scoring
0-34 yrds = 3 pts
35-49 = 5 pts
50+ = 8 pts
If you've made it this far, I appreciate the read.
What players are the most valuable in this league? What type of points would you expect week-to-week?
My first impression is that C-Pep, McNabb, Vick are high value guys, but none of them consistently throw 300 yard games so I don't know.
