Michael Vick's Final Preseason Appearance

Postby inferno19 » Fri Sep 03, 2004 8:55 pm

0 for 3, no rushing yards, no passing yards, a pick and a lost fumble.

Confirming our suspicions? Did anybody actually see this game?

1335 rushing yards, 53 receptions, 441 receiving yards. 18 TDs.
Money in the bank.

Yea, Matt has looked great in the preseason. Definetly the #2 QB.

Well if lets say Vick and Matt entered the year this year (yes I know Matt did) Matt would be the starter and I hope the 9er's make Vick throw 5 int's (all 5 picked off by J.P. and returned for TD's)

I saw Vick's performance. The numbers don't do it justice.

He played a lot worse than his stats suggest.

to add to all of this, the Redskings D looked great tonight. That might be why Vick looked terrible. He was hurried every down, and levar was in his face on all the plays.

That is ridiculous guys. Anyone that thinks Schaub is better than Vick is out of their mind. The preseason means absolutely nothing. I just think it's funny that Vick throws less than 10 preseason passes, and now you've got people believing he should be the backup. While we're at it, let's go ahead and proclaim Ron Dayne, and Drew Brees superstars as well.

I think there are a new batch of football fans every year that lose their minds in the preseason and forget just how meaningless it is. As long as Vick doesn't get hurt, that's good enough for me.

This guy Vick is not the second coming.

That said, preseason means nothing.
