I read somewhere this morning that he had "solidified" his position as NO's 3rd RB (edging out KiJana Carter).

I wonder if the Dolphins would consider bringing in Robert Edwards. He used to be the 3rd down back for the first half of Ricky's best year. As far as I know, he's not on a roster. They should look into it.

which ever Steeler RB is released, either one would be a good pick....can't see them cutting Brown loose

I read an article today that Morris is now the starter.. will be intersting to see how does. The phins have never really had the best luck with rb's.. lol

Sep 5 Sammy Morris may have turned himself into the front runner to grab the bulk of the carries for the Dolphins on opening day. Morris ran well in the team's final preseason game on Friday, while Minor had another ho-hum effort. Morrs ran seven times for 37 yards. Minor had eight yards on three carries. "Sammy was better tonight," coach Dave Wannstedt told the Miami Herald after the game.
Views: Wannstedt is likely to use a combination of Morris, Minor, and fullback Rob Konrad, but Morris looks like a much stronger, more athletic option than Minor, and Konrad is a fullback whose forte is catching balls out of the backfield. With these underwhelming options to choose from, we're assuming the Dolphins are still in the market for another running back.

That's all I could find. Nothing (at least that I saw) on the Dolphins website that indicates anything.
