Starting 2 QB's. Different draft strategy?

Postby Go Vikes » Sun Sep 05, 2004 1:58 pm

If you're league starts two QB's, is there a different draft strategy? Are QB's worth more?

Thanks.

Really depends on your scoring system. In my league, I'd say yes.
QB (1) - Plummer, Leftwich
RB (2) - Alexander, Dunn, Larry Johnson, Ronnie Brown, Stephen Davis
WR (3) - Randy Moss, Andre Johnson, Drew Bennett, Rod Smith, Jason Witten
K - Peterson
D - Carolina
(10 team league, pick #4)

this makes good QBs more scarce so yes it does affect your strategy. Dont take a bad rb if you can still get a decent qb who will start for your team

in 2 QB league...give QB's slightly more value then WR's.

In my last 2 QB league....#1 QB's go like #1 WR's in a 1 QB league.

i was advised to use this strategy (always exceptions ofcourse)

RD1 RB
RD2 QB
RD3 RB
RD4 QB

it worked out great for me. i was able to get a combo of daunte mcnabb and chad pennington, while still nabbing Thomas Jones and chad Johnson.

if your in a league that know what there doing...culpepper, manning will be gone after the first 8 RB's.

good luck...let us know how it go's.

Bingo. QBs are actually a little more valuable than WR in this format. Try to get at least 1 QB in your first three picks and 2 in your first 5.
