How do I get started?

Postby nsulham » Sun Sep 05, 2004 2:12 pm

First of all, GREAT forum. Can't stress that enough. I've always wanted to get into wagering but never got around to it. Glad there are people here who share the same interest.

With that said, how do I go about starting an account? What's a good, reputable online service to go through? Can I use a credit card? How much do I have to use for my initial deposit? I think I saw one sometime where they wanted a couple hundred and I just don't have that kinda loot to do that.

I don't bet much at all but I would like to get in on some action. Any advice would be great. Thanks guys!

hey there i just started myself online. Actually yesterday was my first real bet online.

i use http://www.sportsbook.com, seems pretty easy to use and the guys around here actually turned me on to it.

my initial deposit was only $50, but they gave me an extra 10%. so $55.

You can do as little as $20 and yes you can use a credit card.

check into it and let me know what you think.

BG that is so weird. I just checked out sportsbook myself and was thinking about making the exact same deposit, $50, that you did. I like how the minimum deposit is $20. I can def. do that!

yeah i really like it (of course i won my first bet) go Beavs!!

But i have never read anything on 'IF' bets before and it looks pretty good. My actually bet was Oregon ST +16.5 and tied that 'if' to the Fresno St/UW game today.
