I get a file not found...after going to the site their ENTIRE NFL section is down...

Anyway...I saw this report elsewhere as well:

An NFL source reportedly told the Cincinnati Post on Monday that the Bengals and Buccaneers have had discussions about trading the top pick in the 2003 draft for defensive tackle Warren Sapp. Both Sapp and teammate Anthony McFarland are entering the final year of their contracts. "The Buccaneers may not be able to keep both Sapp and McFarland," said the source. "Some people don't feel Sapp is the player he was four years ago and McFarland is younger." Head coach Marvin Lewis responded to the rumor by saying, How about that one? I don't know where you got your information but it's bad."

Sapp to the Bengals -- WOW!!!

That would certainly give them respectibility, but I won't believe it until I see it!

I would love to see that trade done in so many ways...

Cincinnati would be retarded to do it though. No guarentee Sapp signs with them at the end of the year...so you waste the 1st pick in the draft for a one year "stud"?

Can Mike Brown be THAT dumb?

It wouldn't be that dumb if you were the Bengals. Here's a list of their 1st round picks the last 10 years:

Levi Jones (10th)
Justin Smith (4th)
Peter Warrick (4th)
Akili Smith (3rd)
Takeo Spikes (13th)
Reindard Wilson (10th)
Willie Anderson (10th)
Ki-Jana Carter (1st)
Dan Wilkinson (1st)
John Copeland (5th)
David Klingler (6th)

Not exactly the makings of an all pro team... ;-)
