UPDATE

The next stop on Olandis Gary’s free agent tour will be Kansas City, according to the Denver Post. Unwanted by the Broncos, Gary has already visited the Bills and Lions.

That's the key.
I'm from Tennessee ... so I am real familiar with former Vol James "Little Man" Stewart.
Stewart is some kinda hell for about 1/2 a season.
But he's never been a full-season, 20-25 carries a game kind of back. Ever.
Personally, I think this would be a perfect fit.
Makes a lot of sense. And a GREAT pick-up by the Lions.

My 2 cents, anyway.

Shawn Bryson's fantasy impact if Detroit DOES NOT sign Gary...? I have him in a dynasty league, and am not counting on him to start, but could he be a viable #2 RB?

Krazy,

You'd have to be Krazy, to have Bryson as your #2 back.

I may take him as my #3 or #4, but not #2 unless he becomes the de facto starter in pre-season.

Well, I have Duckett slated as #2...(I'm not very good at drafting...hehe...I'm new to it). Some other projects like Michael Wily (bet ya never heard of him, but he is I believe #2 behind Hambrick in Dallas...)

Who knows? Stewart could go down in preseason, Duckett could get like 1100 yards and 10 TDs...who knows.

The Chiefs seems to have a keen interest in OG as of now....

Apr. 15 - Gary made his third free-agent visit Monday in Kansas City, and the Kansas City Star indicates the former Broncos running back could receive a contract offer from the Chiefs soon. With Priest Holmes coming off a season-ending hip injury, the team is looking for insurance at running back. Harold Lewis, Gary's agent, told the Star, "We'd love to have the chance to play with Priest Holmes. Nothing against him, but that's a great system he plays in. It could be a great fit for Olandis."

Not much value as a backup to the revered one, but if Priest doesn't return to form, OG would be an awesome pick up.
