advice on trade needed. . .brady/TO for plummer/alexander?

Here is the potential trade:

I give up Tom Brady and Terrell Owens
I get Shaun Alexander and Jake Plummer

Here is my current team:

RB1 - Ricky Williams -- So far, so good.
RB2 - Michael Bennett -- I think he is overrated and don't feal comfortable with him as my #2 guy.
RB3 - Clinton Portis -- I am hoping for the best with him, but it will take time, i think.
RB4 - Trung Candidate -- would be solid if marshall went down, but until that happens, he'll be worth nothing.

WR1 - Terrell Owens - good, but a crybaby.
WR2 - Johnnie Morton - supposed to deliver, so far, nothing.
WR3 - Peerless Price - decent, but not a star.
WR4 - Laveranues Coles - supposed to be good, but he sucks, i think.
WR5 - Corey Bradford - was goo for one break out play against the cowboys, but too early to tell what he can do.
WR6 - D-Wayne Bates - moss will get 90% of the balls.
WR7 - Tim Dwight - fast, very fast, but not a proven receiver.

QB1 - Michael Vick
QB2 - Tom Brady
QB3 - Drew Bledsoe

TE1 - Frank Wycheck

K1 - Olindo Mare

DEF1 - Rams

So, what do you think? Should I pull the trigger?

Do not do the trade. You are relativley weak WR without Owens. At RB you look solid. Bennett will do well this year. Plummer will not.... Brady will....

Honestly it depends if you believe you can win with 2 strong RB's and no real standout WR's If you think you can then consider it.

Otherwise stay away from it.

I wouldn't take both of the offered picks for either Brady or Owens. People are frikkin trade happy. Right now there is some talent left in the free agent pool and I would look at that before jumping on some lame trade.

Brady should be starting on about half of the fantasy teams (disregard the knuckleheads telling you he's a "good #2 QB"). He has better weapons offensively than most of the QBs in the league and he only ranks behind a few in consistent play.

Owens had a bad game. Boo hoo. Deal with it. I don't think he's going to fall off the map. If anyone in the trade scares me it's Alexander. If he doesn't produce this week against the pathetic Cardinals, you can write him off. At this point the trade would have looked better if you were being offered David Carr & Terrell Fletcher and I know you wouldn't take that trade.

I wouldn't touch Alexander until the Seahawks prove that they have a team around him. Garcia/Owens are the real deal, and any nitwit who trades away Tom Brady after seeing what he did to the vaunted Steeler defense needs their head examined. Give it a couple of more weeks and all the fantasy sites will be telling you what you should all ready be able to see for yourself: Start Tom Brady unless you have Kurt Warner.

there is no need for this trade your RB are good enough and by trading owens you loose all your points at WR because you dont have any stars at that position this trade would be flat out stupid to do especially because hes going to give you another QB why do you need three to begin with? trade bait is why and if you trade the third QB dont do it for another one
