Commissioner unable to approve trades...

Postby BeefSandwiches » Wed Sep 08, 2004 11:44 am

The commissioner in our league is out of the country and will not have Internet access until the end of next week. He did not leave anyone in control and our league settings state that the commissioner must approve all trades.

I just made a trade that is awaiting approval. If nothing can be done until next week, should Week 1 lineups retroactively reflect the trade?

take a league vote with the majority winning. that is the most far way since your comish did not leave anyone with his power.

He should've given someone interim control.

The problem with retroactive is: say that your backup goes for 100 and 2 scores, you could say that you wanted the backup instead.

So you have to bindingly say to the league who you are starting beforehand.
