Dante Hall as a wideout?

will Dante Hall be useful this weak in leagues that don't emphasize return yards? through an odd series of events, i have him on my team while return yards are valued at 50 per point.

this weekend, however, he will essentially be the number 2 WR for KC against Denver. some people are saying he could potentially have a big game. i'm not sure i buy it entirely, but since i've got him, my thinking is why not get a start out of him before he's dumped?

what numbers should i expect from him this week (and this week only) as KC's number 2 WR?

Someone has to catch Trent Green's passes...so Hall & Kennison are the prime targets at wideout. I might take a gamble & start Hall as my #3 WR.

Priest and Tony will be the main pass catchers with hall falling to 4th option.

that being said, i think i'm forced to use him in one of my leagues. i'm hoping for a few yards and a td. i think that's a lot to ask for though.

Yeah, Dante Hall is on the map because of his kick returns. If not for that we probably wouldn't be talking about him.

I don't expect him to be a great wideout, especially since the coach had to tell him that he has to do more on the team than return kicks. If being a WR wasn't his main focus to begin with I don't think this year will be the year for him. Maybe next year...

I'm intrigued b/c last year Steve Smith and Santana Moss broke out as small-fast receivers who used to do more returning than receiving. . . .KC's other WRs are old and don't impress me much

still, not intrigued enough to pick him up in a league that doesn't score return yards. . . yet

The Chiefs are gameplanning this year to get Dante more involved. They want him to touch the ball 10-12 times a game. I saw a report where they will line him up at various positions in the offense (wr/hb/fb) in a slash role as well as pr/kr. He is one of my sleepers this year. If he is available in your league stash him on your bench and see how this plays out.

Hall might not be a bad start in a big league, he could catch a long pass or something, but i wouldnt bank on it

Pretty funny, I was going to reply to PeteDog's post thinking it was a Shatner post.
Anyhow, PeteDog is right on, they are going to get the ball to Dante. I've read that they've designed specific plays to get the ball to him 10+ times a game. Great guy to have on your roster.
