I'm taking a guess and saying this report was one of two things:

1. Someone at Sportsline or wherever this was "reported" was pulling a cruel joke on the masses, and it was discovered. He is now being fired as we speak.

2. Someone at the Cafe was pulling a cruel joke on the masses, and nothing was verified. He is now being carded and/or IP banned as we speak.

I hope it's the former, guys. :-?

It has to be. I doubt 10 guys got together and lied about a story on the NFL.com, CBSSportslines leagues.

Fake, carbon copy website tells me this was some pranksters who cooked the whole thing up to mess with FFootballers on the opening day of the season. Major sports media picked it up momentarily, until confirmation proved otherwise. But, that was enough to screw up a lot of FFootball rosters.
