hehe... someone did this a few years back and the feature story was that Bill Gates had died... They built a phoney cnn.com interface.

Great prank.
No sympathy for the guys who jettisoned a warm body for Betts or Cartwright. I was desperate enough last year to run Betts and Rock for a week or two each in deep leagues. It won't happen again. They blow.....maybe not like McGahee, but they blow, nonetheless.

That's a friggin' awesome job. If I were the guy who did it all, I'd be mighty proud of myself...he flat out owned CBS :-b

Portis not injured, as reported by CBS SportsLine.com

Sept. 9, 2004
By Mark Swanson
SportsLine.com Managing Editor

Contrary to a CBS SportsLine.com breaking news bulletin from CBS Sports insider Billy Devaney, Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis will not miss significant time this season with an injury.

CBS Sports, Devaney and SportsLine.com regret the error, which was prominently displayed on CBS SportsLine's home page for about 5 minutes late Thursday afternoon. It was egregious and, frankly, unforgivable, and we apologize to our readers, Portis and to the Redskins for publishing the misinformation.

Accurate information is a user and reader commodity we take very seriously, and this story did not meet those standards.

Again, please accept our apology.

I dropped Chester Taylor for Betts, luckily for me we dont have a waiver wire and I just picked Taylor back up

Wow those guys that pulled that off must have no lives, lol. Good thing I only am seeing this now, I have Portis behind LT2 on my keeper... I may have pissed my pants, haha.

It would have been hilarious if Peter Gammons reported the injury. It would have totally added to his reputation :-D
Respect Stevie McNair. Bow down to the pouch.
