Thoughts on Joey Harrington for this year?

Postby dajet00 » Thu Sep 09, 2004 6:35 pm

I think he is a sleeper QB with Charles Rogers and Roy Williams. He is also a third year QB where you really show yourself.

possibly but neither of his recieivers you mentioned are in the "third year that recievers show themselves". the three have never played in a real game together, harrington and rogers have had very few (although good) games together.

harrington is a sleeper QB this year, yes, but only because next year people will EXPECT big things from him rather than those HOPING for big things this year.

I'm expecting him to be a sleeper on my team. He's not the starter (Green) but I'm hoping/counting on Joey to step up this year and be a good backup for me.

Personally, I think Harrington sucks. Didn't like him in college, and don't like him now. However, nice talent around him, and a great QB coach in Mooch. I'd put him somewhere behind Delhomme and Leftwich, right around Maddox, Carr and Bledsoe.

Man, I hope he does good. In one of my leagues, we use two quarterbacks. I'm solid everyone except for QB, where I have Harrington and Plummer.
