See, I dont think they even thought about Henry's reaction when they made the pick. Its the worse pick of the draft, not because of the player but because he is a RB.

From that same link, in the Browns Draft Suggs article I especially enjoyed:

The Browns shocked many with their choice of long snapper Ryan Pontbriand of Rice in the fifth round, including Pontbriand.

"I never really believed that I'd get drafted. Oh, my God," he said.

Looks like teams are paying attention to the fact that truly good, and above all dependable, long snappers aren't all that easy to find. :-)

Sure, they might or might not have been able to wait until a bit later in the draft, but picking Pontbriand was a solid move by the Browns.

Henry will get over it. McGahee said before that he would play this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills brass sat him down and said "all right kid, we know that you want to play this year, but you ain't, so rehab that knee of yours". I honestly think that he won't see one down. I mean they have Henry, and they just signed Olandis Gary, so I don't see the need to risk taking a chance with McGahee so early.

I thought it was a stupid pick by the Bills as well. It was definitely the most bizzare pick of the 1st round, along with the Vikings running out the clock.

instead of henry taking it as a "slap in the face" why doesnt he take it as motivation to stop fumbling and do better then maybe next year the bills will say "damn we cant get rid of this guy"
