Arthur Rhodes Stealin Carries from Edge???

Why does edge need a breather right after a quarter break?
For those who are counting...Rhodes had almost 25% of the carries, does that mean that James needs a break 25% of the time.

Yeah, I wish Rhodes was carrying on the last goalline run, but all in all, I think they put in Rhodes to take a look at him for the future. My new paradigm....I think they are looking for a taking small little snapshot looks at an RB for the future. Edge might only have 15 games left with them.

Yes, James should be rested for 25% of the carries if the Colts rush the ball 40 times. Does everyone not realized that Edge carried the ball 30 times tonight. 30 carries for 142 yards and 29 yards receiving. Man, that is one hell of a game. Take away that last fumble he had, and you can maybe add a touchdown to his stats.

All I can say is that James looked fabulous. You could certainly tell that he is truly back from his torn ACL a few years back. He was quick to hit the holes and to make cuts. This game should make Edge owners feel real good about the rest of the season.

Also, after Ricky Williams retired everybody brought up the number of carries he has gotten the last few years as a reason for his decision, including four 30+ carry games last season. Now people want Edge to carry the ball 42 times in one game (just like Ricky last year)???

Except for the 2 fumbles, how could anyone be disappointed with Edgerrin James' performance? Hell of a game.

I knew it!

I predicted before the season that Edge would be a top 5 RB this year.

He is going to be a stud this year, he looked great.

When Edge left the game and Rhodes scored the td it was only because he needed a break. After a big run play, Edge spun his 2 hands to let the coachs know he needed a break. The staff cleaned Edge up and before he could get back in the game Rhodes already scored a td.

Rhodes is not the goal-line back, he just happened to spell him at that time.

Edge got 30 carries. Put up some great numbers. He easily could have had 2 td's. Edge fans should be really happy.

Edge looked super super awesome. If they need to give Rhodes -- or maybe K-Rod, or Danny Kolb -- some carries to keep him this awesome all season long, so be it. The TD's will come at some point. Wow. I am excited.
