So, if I have this right, we have Emmitt getting the yds and an overweight, outta shape Hambrick in the red zone? Where does Scobey fit in right now - is he gonna take over one of these jobs in the near future when one or both fall flat on their faces?????

Gotta be some hope there backin' up one player who qualifies for Social Security and another who's a walking Jenny Craig commercial that no one else wants!

Sep 9 Despite the acquisition of Troy Hambrick from the Oakland Raiders last month, Smith will remain as the Cardinals' starting running back to start the 2004 season. The veteran was limited to just 10 games by a shoulder injury last year, finishing the campaign with 256 yards and two touchdowns on 90 carries, without a doubt the lowest output of his NFL career.

Advice: Smith and Hambrick are expected to split carries for the Cards this season.

Okay, but what are the chances Scobey will take one of their jobs this season, either sooner or later????

I wouldn't waste a roster spot on Scobey. Maybe once Emmit gets injured. Regardless Arizona is not going to have a good ground attack.

Take Scobey if your league scores return yardage, otherwise just wait for the season to get going and see how it pans out, as mentioned above Smith and Hambrick have the edge right now but that may change down the line.
