Harrison's Opening night

Postby King Titan » Fri Sep 10, 2004 11:17 am

So Marvin had 7 "carries" for 44 yards last night - man that's a good yards per carry -

Ohh wait a minute he's a wideout!! Yikes!

No Ty Law and still no numbers. Get physical with this guy and he melts. Go ahead Marvin and fall down after another catch!

Guys this player is going to a huge disapointment this year!

It's been one game there buddy. sure 44 yards isnt good, but Im hoping that will be a lot lower than most of his games. edgerrin james had 2 fumbles..does that mean he is going to fumble it 32 times this year? no. marvin has never been a physical reciever, so to think that this year he will bust because he shys away from contact is ridiculous.

you convienantly left off his TD, and this was an away game against one of the best team D's in the league. I think your doubts are a little premature.

I concur. Marvin is the undisputed #2 wideout in fantasy football and has a great rapport with Manning.

I think people naturally hate on players they don't own; I'm guilty of it with Denver's Griffin and Chris Brown. I disrespect these backs because my chief rival owns them. Its a bad habit, kind of like playing fantasy football with blinders on.

No jealously here - forget fantasy, as a football player I would take D Mason ANYDAY before I would M Harrison. Harrison and his falling down, refusing to fight for tough yards in tough games is CANCER to a team, Mason will put numbers, show great courage and ability after the catch and his hustle and attitude is infectious to those around him.

I will say this if ALL teams play Harrison physical like the Pats this guy will fall from grace so fast it will make your head spin.

Just wait until Tank Williams lays him oout this week! Believe it!

I cant believe the only looks he was getting were short ones. Manning targeted wayne at least 6 times down the field and he did not make any plays. :-t

If you think Mason is BETTER than Harrison, you are a HOMER (not the bad kind ;-)) and not a true football fan. Although Manning did not go to Harrison much last night, that will change. Harrison will have 110-120 catches this year and 15 TD's ;-D.
