Edjerrin James is top 5 if not top 4 rb

He is healthy and was on track to be top 3 last year. He is at least as good of a runner as alexande and mccalister but on a better offense and looked great in the first game. I see him getting 1500 yds rushing and 13+tds. That does not even include reception yards. He's a better player than alexander and on a better team than deuce, only LT/green/Holmes rank higher.

He looked really good last night, but it really pissed me off when he took himself out on the 3 when Rhodes got the TD. If he is going to be a fantasy star he can't take himself out like that. And obviously 2 fumbles hurts.

it's easy to say this after his game 1 performance.
QB: Manning, Grossman
RB: LT, FWP, Henry, Portis, Dayne
WR: DJax, Galloway, Bennett, Cdavis, Jenkins, Jones
TE: Watson, Graham
DEF: Giants, Jags

I agree with you, but....I predict 1,800 yards and 17 TD's!!!

You must be in a league that does not penalize for fumbles to think he is top 4.

I will be curious to see if he is that much of the gameplan every week.

He's not a big fumbler. Just because he fumbles twice last night doesn't mean he's going to continue it. He's not Tiki Barber.

Wow, call of the year! Edge is the overall 7th or 8th pick in fantasy drafts and you come out and say that he is top 5. Big deal!!!

That is like say Terrell Owens is a top 3 wr. Gimme a break.

Correction. Edge is TOP ONE running back. But talk to me after all the other running backs in the NFL have actually played a game.

I'd still take LT, Holmes, Green, Portis, McAllister and Alexander over Edge in a HEARTBEAT if the draft was 2 seconds after the Thursday night game.

Call me crazy. :-?
