A possible loophole to watch all the games free?

Postby perlick29 » Sat Sep 11, 2004 11:04 am

I know that over on the darkside (baseball), some guys were able to find a loophole that gives you a 3 free month trial of almost all baseball games, no questions asked!

My question is: has anyone found anything similar, or do we have to pay for the package like normal people? Any insight wuld be greatly appreciated.

yea, i think directTV offers you 4 months of free satellite TV when you pay for NFL sunday ticket, that's a pretty sweet deal.

It's amazing you posted this because I was just thinking of doing the same thing myself. I know Real's Field Pass gives you a 7-day trial but that's all I know of.

Over at NFL.com they are running some special where you sign up for a subscription to SI and you get the audio package free. You can cancel at anytime but you need a credit card to sign up. NFL doesn't have online video feeds yet. :-t

Perlick, are you over on the Giants.com message boards too?

Well, while this isn't free, my buddy did something that's a good idea for non-direct TV users.

Last year Direct TV had an offer where when you order NFL Sunday Ticket you get the dish, installation, and 3 months of premium service free.

So, he did it, got the dish and installation free, then after his 3 months of premium service were up he just cancelled the service. So he got the dish and installation free, and now has it so he can order Sunday Ticket every year.

They had the same offer again this year, so I'd imagine that it's an annual thing.
