Give some credit to the Miami D, and partially blame the play calling.
Comparing McNair to Gannon is ludicrous. Oakland foolishly made a radical change to thier offensive philosophy. That and injuries were the main reason for thier dramatic decline.
ANYONE with have a friggin brainwould have left him alone this week. Fisher is as smart as a fox - he knew they could beat Miami with a Vanilla offense, he did not want to show his hand to Indy for this week's game. Fisher use to do this same stuff back in '99 the week before a game with hated rival Jacksonville. If you read one of quotes from Friday I predicted a pre '99 performance from Mac9 - and that's what we got. He and Coach Fisher managed the game perfect and are setting INDY up for a world of problems Sunday.
Start Mac9 against those sorry Colts this week and he'll more than make up for last week. Relax geniuses!!
