Griffin Overrated

Does anyone else think Griffin is far too overrated. Most people are expecting 1200+ yards from him and just because he's in Denver they assume he'll get 1400+, I think he'll bust big time and people getting him as their 3rd RB are gonna be mad.

This is sort of a prediction, but the prediction forum is closed so I brought it in here.

Are you kidding me? Olandis Gary got 1,000 yards in Denver. If he could do it, then anyone can.

Well, I don't see anyone taking time carries from Griffin. And if Griffin does start he has the talent and the offense around him to produce big. He would have to fail horribly to starrt 16 games and not reach 1000 yds.

And by the way, why the game commentary forum? Seems like a strange place to put it even if predictions is locked.

Oh man. That is deffinately overrated.

If he keeps running like he is tonight, he will easily hit the 1200 mark and 10+ TD mark. 1400 may be a bit of a reach, but it's entirely possible if he meshes well with the line.

he is running very well today, and on this 25 yard run he showed some great moves. i see him getting 1300 and 7 or 8 TDs

Well he must be getting injured some time soon because my crystal ball told me he would not reach 5 TDs this year...

Wow, this is starting to look like my Johan Santana prediction in the Baseball forums.

This is how I see it.

1. I love the little guy. He reminds me of Barry Sanders a bit.....shades of Sanders.....He's shifty.

2. If Olandis Gary could rush for 1000+ yds behind that line I could too! This is not to say that I think Q-Tip is not a talented RB.

3. The O-line and Q-Tips skills is a perfect marriage. He'll produce much better in Denver than he would most elsewhere but he's got talent so it's not just the O-Line.

4. He is not any more likely to go down to injure than any other RB.
