I was reading up on the Steelers #1 draft pick and saw that he was fitted for a newer style helmet that is supposed to lower the risk of concussion.I know some players wore this style last year,they say it is lightweight & super-comfortable.

He' going to need it I think. I like the way he flies around to make tackles, but everyone in the NFL is bigger, faster and stronger than in college. I bet he'll get his bell rung a couple of times.

On second thoughts, the season is already WAY too short, if they wore nothing, then we'd only get a season every few yrs.

This is a post on the technology of the game we all love...

...not a hater session on a very good draftpick by my favorite team.

There are players on every team that are wearing them,should I wish for them to be concussed also?Nope.

I don't know.I have heard talk about this mouthpiece but didn't catch Romo talking about it,maybe someone can find some info on this and post it here.
