The call was close, but was indeed crap... Theeesman knows the rules though... at least I thought he did. Man he gets wound up with the superlative comments...
I get this creepy feeling watching Summerall. I keep thinking he is just gonna clutch his chest any second and drop like a stone, or maybe a rotting limb will fall off. Could be what I'm smokin

Either way , it's freakin' me out.
Have you ever seen Monty's sig?
That's what Summerall looks like.

Yeah! I thought they (FOX) forced Summerall out due to the constant mistakes he made. He should have given it up.
Two things that stick out with his play-by-play calling:
1) He stated that an incomplete pass by Trent Green to Tony Gonzalez was intended for Jason Dunn, who I'm not even sure was in the game.
2) He made the comment during the last play in the first half that he did not thing the kicker could even reach the goaline on a 58 yard fg, and the kicker easily gets the distance, although he missed it wide-right.
I realize that announcers always make mistakes, but Pat Summerall continued where he left off a few years ago.
There isn't enough room on the WWW to write down all of the mistakes that Summerall makes. Senility can do that to a person. Is there any truth to the rumor that an undertaker puts on his make-up? He's got to be a first rounder in any death pool.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?
