Could it be the David Terrell doesn't suck?

I had a roster spot to dick around with due to McCardell's holdout, so I dropped him for Terrell. So to the people who saw the game, was this a fluke? Does Terrell have any sort of rapport with Grossman? I figured it was worth a shot. The guy has alwasy had so much talent and never done anything with it.

looked like he was specifically looking for Terrell throughout the whole game.

yup.

It got to the point that it was a foregone conclusion Rex was going for Terrell in obvious passing downs.

Id say he's a great breakout candidate.

Young guys tend to zero in on a WR. Terrell seems to be Grossman's guy, so we'll see.

Terrell looks good, very good. Good route running, good catching, and Grossman feeds him the ball. If he can shut his mouth and stop getting penalties I can see him being a nice breakout canidate.

Terrell looks like he could realise his potential this year. Hopefully he can keep it up if TJones keeps running like he did yesterday. Dropping Grossman for Terrell today. Actually put in the request yesterday.

Funny thing though, drafted him in the 15th round dropped him for Gordon and now I'm going to resign him. I thought Heap would be a better bye week filler than Terrell and why not have another starting RB, even if it is MIA.

Same here. I picked him up off WW right after my draft, then fell into the Watts hype. So I dropped Terrell in favor of Watts. Then yesterday, I dropped Watts and picked up Terrell.

Fluke or not, I picked him up in all 3 of my leagues. If he puts up similar #'s this week, I'll manage to find a place for him in my starting lineup :-)

i watched the game and benched terrell in favor of rogers cuz im a genuis... but anyways i think its a big IF terrell can shut his mouth and stop getting penalties. I can see Loive getting real sick of that crap pretty soon. He could just be a loud mouth capable of putting up numbers once every few games.

Either way i guess certainly better candidate than watts or gordon

I would temper my expectaions for David Terrell Owens, as he's had a couple of strong starts before...that said, he is the "go to" WR on the Bears pretty much by default (the Bears are in the discussion for the worst group of recievers in the NFL this year), but he's probably going to hit a career high in yardage this year and is one of the better breakout canindates widely available at present. The only things that could mess things up are:
- His attitude becomes a serious issue (pretty likely)
- One of the Bear's young WRs steps up and steals the spotlight(not that likely this year)
- The Bears do something to address the WR spot, like trading for McCardell (I think they'll do something in the off-season through the draft or free agency, but probably not this year since this team is not being built to win it all this season).
