i do hate the raiders... but al davis didnt drop them 3 spots last year. i do agree tho, their time is done, they arent #2 this year.

Good Stuff, though a tad early, but WHY NOT - don't we all already have our player projections for the 2003 season?

Teams rated more than just a TAD high:
5. Titans - just don't see them being this high!!
11. Jets - too many losses this offseason.
12. Chiefs - Maybe if the defense can step it up.


Teams rated more than just a TAD low:
29. Jaguars - No way is this team going to be this bad!
26t. Bengals - I think they will be better than this.
24. Chargers - Should be able to make it in the top 20.
22t. Ravens - Could surprise people this season.

Many others seem to be just a tad off, so I won't go into those, as who knows for sure?

Most of what I'm thinking has all ready been said, but let me add that the 15t. Rams are rated too low. They're a Top Ten team. The Pessimistic is Warner? Big deal. If he falters, Bulger is there to steal the show once again. Warner won't be allowed to go 0-4 or 1-6 and move the Rams out of the playoff hunt. If Warner doesn't perform, Bulger will be back sooner rather than later. The Rams are too powerful of a team to rank outside the Top 10 in any Power Rankings.

The Rams have more offensive and defensive balance than many of the teams ranked ahead of them, and at the offensive skill positions they are probably within the Top 5 (how many teams have a QB, RB, and 2 starting WRs who could legitimately all make the Pro Bowl?). Most teams are either lacking at QB, RB, or at least one of the WR spots.

I agree. The Rams should bounce back assuming Faulk is healthy.

The Rams should be better than they were last year, but their defense is going to get shelled again. I think it's gonna be a dogfight in the NFC West next year between them and the 49'ers, with Seattle possibly entering the picture as well.
