Anyone else use the strategy of switching defenses every week. for example picking whatever d will be going up against the 49ners or dolphins this year. Picked up the Titans last week and they got me 20 points. Although, I kind of like the Titans d so i don't know if i want to get rid of them. What do u all think.

You can do that some weeks, but it seems that eventually your luck will run out (after all, what do you do when the 49ers, Dolphins and Lions all face D's that are already owned in your league?).

There was an article at one of the fantasy football paysites about it. If you search DBBC, you should find it. Their recommendation was to pick up the Wash. and Minn. defenses and switch between them all year. They had the softest schedules the entire year.

I love this strategy, but I usually dont go completely DBC. I like to have that one solid D that will play about 50% of the games for me, and rotate in best matchup the rest of the time.

This yr I was pretty high on both SEA and MIN entering into the season, and since they dont have good matchups this weekend, damn right Im picking up NO in a couple leagues. ;-D

Im a huge believer in this strategy. I pick up defenses based on 1) their play making ability and 2) who theyre up against.

Its a nice reward when you get it right.

I agree with Aussie. It's pretty rewarding to play the matchups.

I'm doing a full DBC in one league this year. People weny nuts on D in the draft and by the time I was ready to draft one, they all sucked. It is hit and miss. I grabbed St. Louis last week and they performed poorly for me. This week I will be going with either Oakland or NO unless someone drops a D.

I'd like to try this strategy, I also picked up Tenn last week, and I own MIA DST. However, MIA plays CIN this week, isn't that a good matchup. Or should I drop one of these and pickup NO for this weeks matchup?

This is what I do as well.

And it's "committee".
