Green Bay faces the Bear next week, correct? However, New England faces Arizona. I think benching Favre is understandable, but either him or Brady could light it up next week. With two guys as close as that I think you would have to play matchups.

Last year, Favre came out with a terrible performance, not even mediocre, so if you expected him to repeat last years numbers, this whould be a good sign, especially against one of the Green Bay's tougher opponents this year.

Oh no, it's Amazinz. He's coming back to argue that the Giants really did well when they got laid to waste by the Eagles.

Let's sit back and watch this.

Nah, just coming back to read some more of your stupidity. Why did you stop PMing me hate mail? I was enjoying that. Keep on being profound and one on these posts you might actually say something intelligent. :-D ;-D

"Farve is old" - relatively true in the NFL world.
Favre is still top 10 QB - also true
The Carolina game is indicitive of what we can expect from Favre this year (143 yds & 1 TD) - no way
It seems obvious that the Packers game planned to give Carolina a big dose of Ahman early. With that working, and the Panthers offense faltering there was little reason for the Packers to take it to the air.
However, that new look GB blitzing D will be burned this year, and Favre will still be chucking the ball. 32 TDs with a broken throwing thumb last year is no fluke, especially considering Ahman shattered all Packer rushing records last year. I'd look for around 30 TDs again and 200-250 a game. Oh yeah, probably about 17-22 ints.

There will be games where Ahman is stopped and Favre will air it out. Those games will come every few weeks, and if he keeps the INTs low (1-2) you can rack up big points. But Green Bay is now Greens team, not Favres.
