From Day One, however, my eyes were set on Ricky Williams, the record-setting running back out of Texas. Couch's no-playbook system at Kentucky would not translate into great NFL success; even my younger self knew that. Four years later, my somewhat educated guess has proven correct.

preach on brotha!!!! i felt the same way on draft day!! while people were clapping i was cryin!!!!! :~(

i wanted ricky bad...and knowing what i know now...mcnabb definitly!!!! but hey, i'd still take smith over couch right now...hehehe

Sounds like there is a lot of hate for Couch comeing out of Cleveland. If I was timmmmaaayyy I think I would be asking for a trade at this point. I have been to Cleveland for games and the fans can get out of control very quickly there and I think getting pelted in the back of the head with a frozen rotten tomato in November would really hurt.

Tiiiiiiiiiimmmmmmmmmaaayyyy run for the hills it is in your own best intrest!!
