awsome news about the Deuce!!!

Postby ODOGG » Tue Sep 14, 2004 9:57 am

The Saints will use a fullback to help block for Deuce McAllister more this weekend.
Many observers feel the change to a two tight end, one halfback set hurt McAllister on Sunday. "We're going to go back to what we do best," coach Jim Haslett said. Good news for McAllister owners this week. He's a very strong play versus San Francisco. Sep. 14 - 9:40 am et

Agreed about the TE's....

Although, I'm not sure if the 2 back set will help McAllister nearly as much as it would if they still had Terrelle Smith....

It is possible that Boo will be blocking for some plays. It was only after Conwell went down with an injury that Boo Williams showed up on the radar at all last year.

Conwell's game isn't a fluke. NO definitely has a luxury there.

well i think boo passed conwell on the depth chart for a reason. I assume the only reason conwell got the TD is b/c they were more concerned with covering boo.

just read a blurb on yahoo that boo sucks at blocking so conwell might be in on running plays at least... but i imagine they wouldn't want to give away what play they were running so bottom line is conwell and boo are splitting time :(.

thats sucks :( arrgghhh. i know TE's don't mean too much but I lost my work league marginally. You think Eric Johnson is worth a pickup now? Would you rather keep Boo or Wittin?
