Gannon? Is he worth picking up?

Postby Urrah Buttcrack » Tue Sep 14, 2004 1:25 pm

As you can see below, I am a little skinny in the QB department with only Aaron Brooks. Is Gannon a better play than Brooks? He was this week.

I am alos holding a couple of RB's Morris and Bell in case of injury.

Is Rich Gannon worth picking up?

My team:

QB - A, brooks
WR - Horn, , R. Gardner C. Chambers
RB - Holms, R. Johnson, D. Davis, T. Bell, Morris
TE - R. McMichael
K - Janikowski
D - Pitt

Thank you in advance for your input.

Many folks, most notably Bucky Chudd, think that Gannon is a nice choice for a backup spot this season on teams. Run a search for Bucky's thread on Gannon, it's got a lot of good info in it.

I'm in same boat and I'm looking to pickup Gannon. OAK likes to throw the ball around..I was worried about Collins but it's looks like Gannon for now.

1 plus is he's got an easier schedule then NO does (NO has tough end of season with opponents)
