"its not a TOOMER"

Postby CellarDweller » Tue Sep 14, 2004 3:40 pm

I've got A. Toomer in 2 of my leagues. I've always liked this guy. Unfortunately with Collins gone and rotating QBs (Eli/Kurt) what can I expect of him this season?

He's the #1 in NYG...give him some more time, Philly was creating a mess for Giants O.

I've never really been a big fan of him, but he fell too far in my draft and suddenly he's on my bench. But now due to injuries he's my #2 WR, so here's to hoping he starts having a good year.

I have Toomer as my #3. I think he will have a good year again like always. He makes a good #2 WR and a really solid #3.

He is the #1 in NY but keep in mind that K.C. played to Toomer's strength. Did you see how often the Giants looked downfield on Sunday? Not much and when Warner did it was to Shockey.

People will probably think I'm crazy but I see Ike Hilliard coming out on top this year. Hilliard is the better possesion receiver and he creates after the catch, something that Toomer doesn't really do.

1100 probably is the max he'll ever get to yards in a year.. >10 tds.. He's definatly a #2 reciever fantasy wise, cause he gets the catches, but yeah... I just dont like him

Yep, one game he kills and another he kills you.

If you can have him as a #3, that is his ideal position. If you're expecting more in terms of consistent scoring, you're dreaming. :*)

LOL I gotta feel for Toomer...being a former Maize and Blue, to the giants...he consistently puts up 1000 5-7 every season, but don't expect that much this season...things don't look to be going his way... :-/
