I doubt that there's any formula.

Looks to me like a listing of pure talent (with team capability factored in). IE, if all of these guys show up perfectly healthy and play to the best of their ability, this is how the list would likely shake out.

The trouble is, you never get that perfect season in football where everyone stays healthy, lean, and mean, so a more realistic approach to ranking players takes health concerns of the RBs and surrounding talent into consideration. That certainly drops Holmes and a few others down the list.

Maybe there should be two "cheat" lists, with one list for talent and team potential, and another which factors injury concerns. Some players are likely to rebound from off seasons. A. Smith and A. Thomas are both better than they played last year, and it's likely that at least one of them will return to form. They are both rated too low, IMHO, and the unproven Canidate is rated too high. It's all opinion though

Shockers for me: (and I realize everybody's opion is different, but these kind of stuck out for me):

QBs
Kitna is not on the list at all. Otherwise, not much to argue about but a couple positions up or down for a few players.

RBs
Canidate (12) is misspelled, and a bit high for my tastes.
Garner (22) is too low for me.

WRs
Holt (4) is too high.
Ward (28) is tooooooooooo low.
Jackson (43) is too low.

TEs
I don't worry about too much, but:
Alexander (9) too high.
Stevens (12) too low.

D/STs
Miami (6) too low.
Cleveland (8) too high.

I can't judge the IDPs, so I'll leave them alone.

well let me tell you someting here guys....MR. Shaun Alexander is not a happy camper right now,,,,he can't believe the "low ratings" he is getting right now and he has assured me that he will be #1 in fantasy pts this year.

I pray to GOD everyone else in FF america sees Hasselbeck as the 24th ranked QB.
