What WR would be equal to Q. Griffin right now?

Postby PatsFan007 » Tue Sep 14, 2004 7:41 pm

I'm ok at RB with Edge, Lewis, Henry and Griffin. I've been offered D. Mason from one guy and Chambers from another. I could really use another good receiver. I'm hurting with S. Moss and Stallworth. I also have a hurting Calico who I'm thinking about droping for Clayton who's avail on the WW.

Anybody have any idea of what's a fair value for Griffin right now? I doubt I can expect a top 5 WR or can I?

If i had Q right now and was set at Rb id def be looking to trade for a top WR...what Q is actually worth is along the lines of Joe Horn, D-Jax, Andre Johnson....guys around that area. What you MIGHT be able to pull for Q right is maybe C. Johnson or Hines Ward. If you could find someone real high on Q right now id def do it.

I'd put Qtip right around the value of CJ and Ward.

I was wondering the same thing. My team is list below. I am stacked at RB but not too confident in my WRs except Holt. Im trying to get C. Johnson right now. As good as Griffin looked in his first game im kind of leary of trading him but would do it for C. Johnson.

Not many people in my league are willing to give up a WR that's considered a stud. However, everybody wants him. But, they are offering sht!

I should of asked what's too low? I could also just keep him and pick up Clayton.

Thanks for the feedback!

If I don't get C. Johnson or Ward for him i would rather keep him and see how good he really is. I just hope one of my second tier WRs show up this week. Unlike some people I think Griffin is a very good RB and will probably be my second best RB this year.

If I wasn't getting an upper tier guy, I'd be inclined to do what you proposed -- keep him and pcik up Clayton.

If you don't end up with any good offers for Griffin this week, hang onto him until week3 and then put him up on the block again after that game. He faces SD at home that week and should put up some huge numbers.

I think you're right. I think he's that valuable. Denver has a pretty poor schedule so he should do well weekly. He's going to become a No. 1 back if his body can hold up I think. Great find for people who got him. I may actually try to trade away a Fred Taylor or other bigger name type guy. He's probably going to do better than this type of back and that back might actually attract more value because of his history.

The lowest WR I'll accept for Griffin is Chad Johnson. I'd try to get Terrell Owens if you can.
