What are your league settings?

Postby Adamdc » Tue Sep 14, 2004 9:12 pm

What are your settings for:

Rushing Yards/TDs
Receiving Yards/TDs
Passing Yards/TDs

Mine are:

10/6
10/6
25/4

(meaning 1 point for 10 yards rushing and 6 points for a rushing TD, etc)

Just wanted to know if these settings are common.

thanks

You asked the same question last night...

Your settings are normal. Believe me, there are a lot weirder ones than that.

I'm not trying to be mean; I'm just trying to explain things. The question has run its course; that's why no one else responded to you the first time. There's no reason to create double posts and knock someone else's question off the front page.

I apologize. I didn't get much of a response so I basically reposted.

I guess the point I was getting at is, why only 4 points for a passing TD as opposed to 6 for any other way??

Anybody?

Because QBs have the ability to score so much more than any other player on the field (see Culpepper, McNabb), and that's the way a lot of leagues even things out. I think it's pretty ridiculous myself, and it leads to super RB heavy leagues (RBs are already more valuable because of scarcity). So hopefully you have a good RB corps, or at least a QB capable of putting up 4 or 5 TDs and 350 yds a week.
