Fitzgerald = Boldin 03?

After Sunday's game against the Rams, it looks like Fitzgerald just may be one of those rare rookies that excels. Dennis Green targeted him often throughout the game, and he did not disappoint. Let's hope he can get in the end zone in the future.

Never know, could happen... He's walking into the same situation pretty much as Boldin was and he's more hyped up than Boldin was, so I wouldn't be surprised if he puts up good #'s.

I think he's going to be. People may call me a homer but the kid is better than Boldin. The running game looks like it will keep people honest at the least. If your 2nd WRs are shaky, I'd start Fitz this week. People may see that it's the Pats but their secondary was torn up all pre-season and it continued into the first game.

Bingo, even though I don't think he's as good as Fitzgerald, Roy Williams had a nice opening day as well.
