Madden 2002

I just purchased Madden 2002 for Gamecube. I started a season and played three games and went to bed. I went to continue my season in the morning, and there was no saved game. I thought I saved, but all that was saved was my individual records. How do you save a season, I'm either blind or dumb. :-?

You do know there's been 3 versions of Madden since 2002, right?

New York Yankees: 2005 Offseason
Dallas Cowboys: 5-8
PrimeTime(baseball): FB Champion
PrimeTime (football): 10-4

It was on sale for $5 at Toys R Us over the weekend. I don't pay $$$$ for games.
