what rb will emerge by week 5

The only one I can see is green.. all the other guys split to much and will split the whole year probably unless injuries come along. Green will do good and i think beat suggs out for the job, but that could just be my gut.

Foster has the best chance, and will actually put up numbers while he is splitting carries.

Foster gets my vote too. Davis had his career year, is due for a knee injury, and isn't shifty enough to make up for Carolina's depleted O-line.

I would have to disagree with those who say Green. Butch Davis has just about said that he is waiting for Suggs to come back and start. Green will be a backup by week 5, barring a NEW injury to Suggs.

Out of the listed RB's, I would agree that D. Foster is a good bet. But you have a couple of weeks to wait, hopefully. It is possible that J. Fargas may play himself into a mildly mediocre role by then. That doesn't sound too great, but it might be better than foster splitting carries (although wheatley seems to be option # 1 for now).

I'll probably be in the minority, but I'd go with Fargas - I don't have any faith in Wheatley; nothing he's done so far in his career has done anything to impress (he's 32 now - little late now to bloom). The others will only get a starting job in the event of injury.

fargas should be starting by week 10. should be decent for the remainder of the season and the 1st 4 games of next year until Ricky Williams takes over.
