"Bump" is the term that people use when they are merely posting in order to bump a certain topic up to the top of the post list. Use it sparingly in order to give a chain of thoughts a fresh look.

J-DUB, you can also bump your post to the front line of the forum by posting comments. Bumps could be skewed as a shameless plug. Shorts savage, said to use it sparingly because consistent *bumping* can be annoying. It took me a few days to figure "bumps" definition. I should have just asked like you. Great idea.

Does anyone remember the pre-Super Bowl interview that had Ty Law and Steve Smith? And the interviewer asked if Ty had anything to say to Steve, and Ty said, "Don't cut me."

Now, I thought (correctly, I am sure) that Ty Law was referring to a knee-threatening cut block. But my friends all said Ty was saying not to run any routes that involved sharp cuts (???).

Anyway, as long as we're doing definitions, my friends are idiots, right? Maybe this should be its own thread...
