Baltimore -4 looks really good. Who else thinks that the Ravens are going to be pissed off and will smack the Steelers around at home? I would also lay money on Maddox getting knocked out of the game (injury or benched) and Ben Whatever getting to see his first NFL action.

4 1/2 points is not enough to stop me from betting against Miami on the road.

And 37 is a very low o/u number for the TB/Seattle game. People are still giving the TB defense too much respect. I say over on this small number (in fact, I'm going to do that before that number goes up, as I think it will).

Don't believe I'm touching Baltimore though. If anything, I would take the Steelers with the +4 there. Jamal Lewis has historically had trouble with Pittsburgh and a lot depends if Ogden is playing. I do agree Baltimore could come out pissed off but that aggression could backfire against them.

I think I like Houston +3 and St. Louis +2.5; Detroit's got some injury problems (no Rogers or Bly) and Carr should be able to pick apart that secondary. I think St. Louis will spread Atlanta out and take advantage of that pourous secondary and the defense will do just enough against Vick, who's still settling into the WCO.

St. Louis + 2 1/2 I agree with you because they will be playing indoors in Atlanta . If it moves to 3 I may make a play myself.

I am staying far away from Det Hou. These are 2 two young, talented and unpredictable teams (for me at least). I know that I liked Det against Chi but that had more to do with Chi. The Det/Hou game could go either way.

You've also got me second guessing my Baltimore prediction.

The TB line may be more in keeping with a lack of respect for the TB offense... and a Seattle D who kept Deuce and Brooks easily in check.

Lock Of the Week
Seattle -2.5 at Tampa Bay
Tampa Bays Defense is nothing what it used to be. Even if (and i would almost rather) Alexander is not in the lineup We are going to see Hasselbeck and co light up the scoreboard. On the other side of hte ball, i don't see TB offense doing much against Seattle's defense to boot.

Other Games i like as of right now.

Ravens -3.5 at home against the steelers
The Ravens and especially Lewis are going to be pissed and they aren't going to anything but demolish the Steelers in Baltimore. This could get ugly quick. (although i said nearly the same thing and the ravens got me my only loss last week.)

Colts +1 at Tennesee
Peyton won't let them lose two in a row. Indy's defense scares the heck out of me with this one. And Brown really looks like the real deal, but i see Indy here as a good bet.

Seattle @ TB over 37
Seattles defense is not going to allow alot of points. But i do see this one goign over 37. might want to be on this now before the number rises?? Or is everyone looking at Alexander.

This is probably my least favorite of the bunch, but then again nothing is really jumping out at me this week. I don't have much faith in Warner or anyone on the Giants offense. Portis could be the Giants by 3 playing both sides of the ball by himself!

I really like STL getting 2.5 it will probably be my pick of the week, I think it should be a pick'em if anything. Also this game historically goes over the total when these two meet. Gotta try the over in this one.

49 1/2 is a huge over. That is almost 2 TD per quarter. They're not playing indoors in Minny but outside in Philly - Philly also has a pretty good D. So if anything, I would go for the under on that one.

i don't think i am going near that one. But i would agree that if i did i would lean toward under. 49.5 is just too dman big to go over.
